Our Assam tea is TGFOP1 2nd Flush from Tezpur & Gogra. Assam is a black tea named after the region of its production in India, which lies along the Brahmaputra River. Most Assam is grown at or near sea level, in a warm, wet climate, and is known for its body, malty flavour, and strong, bright colour. These specific weather conditions and altitudes contribute to its distinct flavour. Assam teas, or blends are often sold as “breakfast” teas. Black teas are more heavily oxidized than other types of tea, and contain polyphenols which are plant-based chemicals that may provide health benefits. A great daily brew with a splash of milk!
250g loose leaf premium tea.
How to brew Assam: 10g of loose leaf tea, steeped in 400ml of 98 degree Celsius water, brewed for 3 minutes.
