Medium-fine to fine grind. Versatile and forgiving—similar to table salt.
Fine grind. Finer than table salt, almost powdery. Essential for building pressure in home espresso machines.
Medium grind. Similar to sand. Ideal for even extraction over longer brew times.
Medium-fine grind. Finer than filter but not as fine as espresso. Helps produce strong, rich coffee.
Coarse grind. Chunky, like sea salt. Prevents over-extraction and keeps grounds from slipping through the mesh.
Very fine grind. Ultra-fine, like powdered sugar. Required to extract intense flavour under high pressure in commercial setups.
Medium-fine grind. Slightly finer than drip. Balances flow rate and clarity in manual pour-over methods.
Medium-coarse grind. Coarser than V60 to suit Chemex’s thick filter and longer brew time, ensuring clean, bright flavours.
