Decaffeinated Loose Leaf Premium Quality Tea.
With the Latin name Camelia Sinensis, this tea is from the Theaceae plant family. Camellia sinensis is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree whose leaves and leaf buds are used to produce tea.
There are three methods to extract the caffeine: using organic chemical solvents (methylene chloride or ethyl acetate), carbon dioxide or the water method (also known as the Swiss Water method). Since ethyl acetate is derived from fruit, tea de-caffeinated via this solvent is sometimes described as “natural” decaf. Kush Tea uses the Swiss Water method.
Classic, smoky, oak.
